Math Centres- We worked on some math centres today and then for the last half of the time, we worked on this week’s math sheets if the students didn’t finish them. Some of them just have a few little corrections. Please check for a red duotang!

ELA Carpet Time

Social Studies- Today we reflected on our last lesson about residential schools. Since our First Nation’s ancestors had their language taken away, we tried to revitalize it today by learning some Cree words. We have a couple neat Cree apps where the students could learn new words and play a game with it.

Halloween Party- I am so sorry! We were having so much fun, and I totally forgot to take pictures! We started off with a dance party. Then we had some of our treats. We played a couple Halloween Kahoot games. We then played a version of 7-Up called Ghosts Up.

*Next Friday, November 6th is Plainsview Dress Up day. Students can wear the school’s colours- blue, black or white!

***Unfortunately I found out that Hotmail/Outlook have been blocking Edublogs from the daily emails. So if you have subscribed to the blog with a Hotmail/Outlook account, that is why you have not been getting the daily blog emails! If you have another email (something like Gmail) that you would like to subscribe with, it will work. If not, I have Edublogs working on it, and they will do a run around using the Mail Chimp site.
