Science- We learned about animals/babies and their life cycles this afternoon. The students looked at an animal book that they liked and tried to guess what the life cycle of that animal would be.

Phys Ed- We played a version of a rock paper scissors race today that mimicked eggs, caterpillars, chrysalises and butterflies!

Health- We talked about our feelings and practiced showing our feelings on our faces and bodies, and recognizing them on others.

*I have a favour to ask! I am going to be adding a post office centre to our classroom, and I seem to be all out of my usual cards/stationary. If anyone has some extra old cards/stationary at home that they are willing to part with, please send it to school with your child, and we will put it into the post office where the kids can practice their writing over the next few weeks!

*If you could have your child use the washroom before the leave for school, or get on the bus, that would be awesome. Without a morning/afternoon recess, the bathroom parade is getting pretty bad. With covid, the students are only allowed to go one at a time. I ALWAYS let the kids go and I will never say no to a bathroom, but sometimes they have to wait for 2 or 3 students who asked before them to go. So just a helpful thought!
